London children need dedicated campaigners across the city.
Some ideas for campaigning activities you could take are:
• Pay a visit your local councillor or MP, to see what action they are taking on child poverty
• Run a stall at a local music or cultural event to raise awareness about child poverty in your area, and recruit others to your campaign
• Organise a publicity stunt to attract media attention
• Attend a public meeting or hold one yourself
For more detail on all these ideas, and many more, please see our Campaigners Toolkit which is available to download. This comes in five parts and has been designed to support campaigners of all abilities and commitment levels. If you have a lot of time to commit, that’s great, but even taking an hour to campaign can make a difference.
