It is true that London is a very unequal city, and has become much more unequal over the last 30 years, and that this rise in inequality is due at least in part to aspects of the capital’s economy. But inequality is one thing and poverty is another. Even in the most unequal city in the UK there is no reason why any child should be in poverty.

4in10: The End Child London Project (4in10) comes to an end on 30th April 2010. The end of the project was planned, having been funded from the beginning for a fixed period of two years.

Keeping Child Poverty on the Agenda’, the final evaluation of 4in10. This is an independent evaluation of 4in10 coordinated by SHM in order to capture the impact and lessons learnt through 4in10 for partners and funders.
