Date confirmed for Newham Campaign Workshop - 13th of Feb, 2009
4in10 will be kick-starting its first borough-specific campaign in Stratford, Newham, on 13th Feb 2009. This event is open to all community and voluntary organisations working in the borough to support low income children and families. Both workers and service users of organisations are invited to participate. The purpose of the workshop will be to decide upon the most important local issue affecting low income families and to develop a campaign ask that will achieve real change locally.
We want this campaign to be driven by voluntary organisations working with low income families who know first-hand the change that needs to happen. We need your drive, local knowledge, expertise and enthusiasm for this campaign to be a success, and to improve the lives of tens of thousands of children living in poverty in Newham.
