ECP response to Unicef Report Card 8 - 11th of Dec, 2008
Unicef report card 8, published today, rightly recognises the progress that has been made on child well-being by the Labour Government but also shows that progress has stalled on tackling child poverty.
Hilary Fisher, Director, said "For this Government to keep their promises they must commit £3bn to halve child poverty by 2010; this would be an investment in child well-being and an investment in this country’s future."
