Post: Temporary London Child Poverty Campaigner
Salary: £29,000 pro rata
Temporary Contract: 7 week temporary contract
1 in 3 children live in poverty in the UK, in inner London its 1 in 2, shocking figures given our nation’s wealth. We are looking for an experienced campaigner with excellent networking and interpersonal skills to assist us with the engagement of individuals and organisations throughout London with the Keep the Promise: End Child Poverty event on October 4th 2008. This role will involve raising awareness of the rally and mobilising London - based communities, youth groups and other organisations to attend the event.
You will be an enthusiastic and driven individual with excellent organisation skills and experience of working on your own initiative in a pressured environment.
