There are weeks when I literally run out of money by the Monday. I’ve got nothing left. I haven’t got parents I can rely on to help me out, so if I’m out of money we have to go without.

Better housing essential in the fight against child poverty - 12th of Oct, 2007
A new briefing released today by the Campaign to End Child Poverty highlights the urgent need to address bad housing affecting many of the 3.8 million children currently living in poverty in the UK.
1.6 million children are currently either homeless or growing up in bad housing, resulting in unequal life chances and severely blighting their health, education and future opportunities.
