Use what you have learnt here, about the impact of child poverty on the individual and on society and the facts about your local area to write to your MP. Let them know that you support the urgent case to end child poverty in the UK and that you are disappointed at the lack of investment in the budget, less than 40p a week, for children living in poverty.
Urge your MP to write to the Chancellor and ask him to support children and their families living in poverty at this difficult economic time.
